I think the Wacom One should have a built-in base to be able to work just as the pen should be included. It is the same movement that Apple makes with its chargers for its equipment

Is it me or the display looks very dark? Or maybe it's the camera's view angle?

Wacom keeps getting greedier and greedier its so sad and pathetic. Here's an idea. Instead of buying the stand just buy the box and place it under your tablet and voila you have a stand.

One thing I would like to include for people is to remember that not all the laptops/computers allow usb-c to usb-c connection for these tablets. So if you are were considering to use less space it might cost you more.
Make sure to check your laptops specifications!

Thanks for your reviews, Aaron. Also, have purchased based on your recommendation. Also-also, purchased some of your training lessons. Keep it up!

Hey Aaron, thanks for the video.
From watching you draw, I noticed there is a delay between your hand and the strokes appearing on screen. This doesn't seem optimal to me, and I'd like to know if this bothered you at all when using it.

I am a Wacom user myself. Still using my Intuos 3 that I bought back in 2008. If I ever intend on upgrading, it would be to a Cintique.

I also appreciate your covering the process of the different add-ons and other accessories.
I am a bit puzzled as to why the pen case and the pen itself come separately. I can understand if you want to customize a colour or replace the case for some reason, but I fee like right off the bat, people would want to have a full pen ready to be used.
Same goes for the supporters that come separately. Yes - you could find a cheaper solution, but I believe they could've created a built-it modifiable angled support.
Just some thoughts here. I do not expect you to have the answers obviously.

Thanks again for showcasing the product.

If this still had the flip feet, I would buy it for the feel. Can’t do those feet that move around.

For a beginner device, i would advice against it.
The price is quite steep for 13.2 inches. E.g. a cintiq 22 (standard) + metal standard combo is under 1000 usd. (less than double the price, you get more than double the size)
and you also have the 16 inch model. e.g. (if 22 is just a tad too large).
All under 1000 bucks.
But in the case of traveling, this might indeed be a good device (although as said, quite expensive for the size)

Whatever happened to getting you setup and ready to go right out of the box?

For me it being so small is a posetive. I like having my iPad in my lap but sometimes you need the power of desktop apps. The small form factor and touch makes it appealing to me but knowing how horrible the windows touch intergeneration is as well as hardly any drawing apps supporting proper touch navigation (you can see how sluggish it is at 11:56. Compare that to any drawing app on a phone or tablet) that combined with the unreasonable price for what it is makes it unviable. They don't even allow you to decide what the touch gestures do beyond their prefabs. They should allow you to remap the gestures to macros so you could map two finger tap to ctrl Z. The native "undo" prefab doesn't work in all apps so having it just press ctrl Z would be a lot more reliable

Oh, I got confused, I thought they sent you a vintage Wacom Classic #1, yknow, the old coal grey black one with the beveled surface? I Am still running my PTZ-630 from 2004- I just put a new nib (6-8th in its life) yesterday! But y'know, my inutos 3 from back in the day actually not only came with the pen, the wire i do wish was replaceable like modern ones but mine is hardwired, it also came with this really nice pen holder.
Thanks for being here, Aaron <3

Does this display tablet include cable or you have to order it separately?

Hey Aaron! I've been following you and recommending your channel and site as often as I can to anyone seeking to grow as an artist. I've been a fan of Wacom nearly as long as you've been, and I'm finding my Wacom Cintiq 12WX is obsolete (except on my 2009 MacBook Pro), and my Cintiq 24HD isn't far behind. I'm looking at the new Pro 17 and 22, seeking a bit more compactness from that 24HD mammoth (which I love, but should never be moved). The cord simplicity of newer Cintiqs is very appealing. Have you tried either of these new ones, after this One review?

For $499 I would rather get an second hand iPad pro 12in. Not only it would be stand alone with procreate, but it also can be used as a "cintiq" using an app like Duet Display.
