I've already started ordering my seeds for the spring/summer cut flower garden. I think I got some really nice fillers and foliage for the garden in this video. I've also been sick this week, so please forgive the raspy and echo-y audio.

I'm not an expert, I'm just some person with a garden. Thanks for visiting the Freshcutky organic gardening channel. This channel focuses on my journey, as I work to build my own cut flower farm. In the garden, I will answer some of the most common "gardening for beginners" type questions I get, including growing flowers from seed. Growing greens and planting beautiful organic food is something I'm really passionate about. Thank you for joining me as I learn to grow flowers, vegetables, and more.

Many ornamental flowers and cut flowers are TOXIC. ALWAYS do your own research and take responsibility for the plants that you introduce around your kids, pets, and everyone else. Use common sense when handling plant materials: wear gloves, always wash hands, avoid contact with face, etc. NEVER consume any plant which has not been positively identified with complete certainty to be safe and edible. Before planting anything, research to determine whether specific flowers are considered invasive where you live or if there are laws that apply to their planting in your area.

@freshcutky documents the pursuit of my goal of one day owning my own cut flower farm. Along the way, you'll see random projects, cooking, and of course - growing stuff. Very cool. I'll be placing my Baker creek order very soon. Trying to cut my list down as I want everything.

Merry Christmas! I've been drooling over my seed catalogs...I have very little space in my urban yard and an HOA so I need to restrain myself. But I want everything!!!

For the record, BC does the same thing in the vegetable department as well, but I finfd in a few years it re-enters their queue-for lack of a better term again. i found this out because I missed green calaloo and its back now. I said all of that to say dont get discouraged. Looks like your flower beds will be stunning . I got you on the vegetables girl!Ohh i ordered the Aurach and didn't grow it out, but after seeing your photos and I will be planting them this year! I edited becausemy Typonese was showing!😊👍

You should request a geo seed catalog. You have to fax the order form and everything is in Latin but I love their prices and qty.

Merry Christmas.!!

Thanks for sharing, and good to know they discontinue things. I see your Ranunculus video in the sidebar, going to go watch that, I'm never sure which end is up. How about Fresia, do you, or have you grown those, I even heard Martha Stewart once say they're hard to grow, I bought a bag once that had roots already growing, they were a success =^)
