I don’t understand how that’s supposed to be good news? Living longer means that more people are going to need it! If it runs out in 15-years people won’t get it. I am permanently disabled and was forced into it at 24-years old. I have been trying to get off for 20-years and can’t! Now you’re saying I am screwed in about 15-years.

Also he didn’t actually say anything. So what was the point of having him on? It could have been a regular story. Not a feature interview. There were no tips, just that the government had to do something!

This clown meant the U.S Government's "borrowing" from the Social Security fund.

Government will have to make serious changes in order to afford to pay pensions and healthcare for all of those retired people:
1) They will raise the age that you need to be to qualify for a pension/healthcare
2) They will lower the amount a retiree will receive
3) They will end other socialist programs in order to afford to fund the pension and healthcare programs
4) They will desperately try to increase their GDP / economy
5) They will raise taxes for those who are still working
6) They will encourage retired people to go back to work (you will always need an job / income)
7) They will force working age people to save for retirement (like Singapore does) - so you better start an investment account and start buying stocks!

why not raise the ss tax on your monthly paycheck? paying a little more is a small sacrifice to ensure we can collect 100$ of our retirement money!
