Released Palestinian prisoner recounts torture in Israeli prison

eleased Palestinian prisoner and cancer patient, Mohammad Aklouk, who had been detained since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza, described the horrific conditions of his detainment.

Aklouk recalled a fellow prisoner, Mohammad al-Kahlout, 31, from Jabalia, who was struck in the head by Israeli forces and died in his arms.

Aklouk is one of 50 prisoners who were released on 11 June through the Zikim crossing west of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza and are currently staying in Kamal Adwan Hospital.
