Feature Learning

This lecture discusses the basic principles of feature learning methods. First, some challenges with long raw feature vectors are discussed. Then, the basic idea of feature learning as an optimization problem is detailed. Applications of feature learning to data visualization and privacy-preserving machine learning are also touched.
