Plastic Man is honestly one of the few heroes that could be a massive pain in the ass for even the most powerful heroes in DC to handle, even Superman. as shown with Flash, Plas can infiltrate people's bodies like a parasite while leaving them unharmed and controlling their bodies. Plastic Man's abilities have been honed to such a degree, its possible for him to perfectly copy the colors, textures and physical traits of things he turns into.
Something I've theorized is in a case where Batman would need to take out Superman with the help of a League Member, Plas make turn himself as a thin layer of Batman's suit, only for him to spring like a trap when Superman has him pinned.
I think the three best suited heroes to deal with Superman are of course Batman, Plastic Man and Martian Manhunter
