The real hippie movement used primal therapy, yoga and many other techniques to reconnect with nature and each other. If you are sincere in your efforts it can bring about a next-level awareness of our own true nature as a microcosm of the cosmos. Love your work, thanks.

Why didn't they address possible negatives? Unblocking energy is good, but my experience with breath work is that it actually causes more trauma. Digging up memories doesn't get rid of them. Instead, it repeats the trauma. And catharsis creates the illusion of liberation because it is dramatic, but the drama and the subsequent beliefs create more trauma.

Thanks for putting this forth. I have experienced the power of breath work in my flesh. Very important stuff. It’s incredible that this is still sort of an exotic subject…!

I would like to add though, that it felt weird to not hear about ancestral breath work techniques when talking about the origins of it. It really didn’t start with Freud 😅 those guys heard it from someone else… honest deep critical question: are you starting with Freudian stuff because it makes it more sciency?

For healing the body-mind disconnect in the service of cultivating wisdom, the Feldenkrais Method is also an incredibly powerful tool well worth the consideration of anyone on this path.

I've praised this channel a lot, and posted something the other day and how sincere that the channel has been, though I mean David to be precise, especially on all issues of Covid.
So hopefully I'm allowed to criticise some of the output.

I acknowledge that personal growth and self improvement are important parts of Rebel Wisdom, and I'm guessing that this is a feature of their conferences / meet ups / get togethers. But some of the language used in this film really does grate.

Modality of being, breathwork bypassing defence structures, breathwork generating next level insight, patterns of being, life force energy being hindered by previous experiences, searching for our authentic will and looking to strengthen our heart energy.

Really?

Isn't this film ripe for ridicule?

New Age Redux. There is a growing market for “ liberating promissory wisdom” in this age of uncertainty with its competing ideologies. Rebellious it is not. It is just a competitor with tenuous links to an alternate reality.

Nice. Get Ray cappo, the hardcore yogi and his friend from wisdom of the sages on here.

I can make myself come out in goosebumps, any time i want, and i tend to do it quite a lot, they way i do it has more to do with understanding my conscious being, my conscious experience of existence.

It's stunning to me that people take David Fuller seriously.
