Brilliant explanation covering all the important introductory points.

Eagerly awaiting the next installment. I don’t particularly care whether it’s in Java or Node.js 😀I think the value you add lies in how you conceptually explain the subjects.

Thanks for the video. I've watched it a couple times now. Implementation in Java would be my preference. Thanks.

Really interesting.
For the next episode, why not implementing the client in Kotlin 😉

Is there a way to pass the user's authentication context as part of thee invoke request to the MCP server? So it can use some sort of delegated auth pattern (oauth on behalf of flow) to perform tasks on downstream services on behalf of the user?

The use case is so that you can run a MCP server that supports more than one user.

How does claude desktop know which mcp server to get tools from based off user prompt. Does it just get all of them? If it does, Does it send all of them to the llm?

Nice one. Java client(maybe with Spring AI MCP - still in early development),

Okay, that's a simple operation.

What about something more complex, like Claude directly changing your code base?

Isn’t it nice that they’re trying to reinvent what an LLM should be able to decipher from the standard open API specification
