Dr. Kel is such a such an upsetting protagonist. He’s been hired to work in an environment that’s a hotspot for alien factions and their interactions as-well as demons and forest monsters. The people who sent him fully knew he wouldn’t survive long enough to get to that vacation and all he can do is be a bystander caught in the middle of stuff no man was ever meant to still be alive to see.

Imagine arriving at your place of work, the place is a mess and clearly the last guy who did the job went mad but you don't know why, only as the days progress, you now see the reason, the horrors you're subjected to, whether by pure accident or pure malice.

i really like the part where the walls are closing in on him in his nightmare here its much faster than the game and the way dr.kel is sitting shows just how bad his mental state has gotten
