37 years doing HVAC, used one many times until the bit brakes, then it back to snips. Work great on flat duct.

That pause at the end was him realizing he messed up and left that jagged little hole on the left

So if you're cutting in a round tap (saddle) on round pipe, you're going to be basically cutting a flat oval if you flatten out the metal you just cut into. So it might be starved for air because you only cut a circle. Those are meant for cutting into flat metal like rectangular ductwork. And it's much quicker to just use snips. Unless you're a time traveler from the 80's and you're cutting in spin collars.

The comments are ridiculous….. anyone saying hole saw has never cut duct a day in their life

😮 😊Nice attachment. It also provided a super clean cut for a drill bit.

Never seen one and whilst I'm not sure about cutting with the side of a drill bit - it does seem to work pretty well on that soft ducting.

I didn't realize till the end that the only piece that had burrs on it was the throwaway piece 😮

My fingers are bleeding just watching this. I have a "Harry Potter" scar on my forehead from sheet metal. It's starting to hurt too

I would have used the small version for that 6" hole.. I've never even used my big one yet 😂.. it's still new. .

Will It cut heavier gauge? Or is it just baking foil?

I worked in sheet metal, but it was for high-end barbecues. Sheet metal tools didn't work much because the parts I did were cosmetic.
