Here is a quick video on Binomial Expansion using combinations. The challenge was getting it into a 10 minute video, so sorry if I talk really quickly.

@demonwx10, the coefficient is found by using combinations. This is another Math concept that is a prerequisite for doing Binomial Expansion in this way. It's basically like saying, if I have 4 y values, how many different ways can I make a group of 2. You could use the first and second, the first and third, the first and fourth, then the second and third, second and fourth and finally the third and fourth. So there are 6 ways to make a combination of 2 y values when you are given 4.

Great video.  I found this very helpful.  I did, however find a mistake that was probably due to input error on the calculator.  In the example you worked out, the correct coefficient should be 2, 480, 640.  I think you multiplied 64 times 36, 760 instead of the correct combination result of 38, 760.  I just felt I should point that out.

People of the past decade and the generation to come, hear my message: this video appears on google for explaining binomial theorem. It has reached mars.

I still don't understand how you figure out the coefficient, I don't get how having 2 y values when having a total of 4 gives you 6.
