Me, Personally, I like both the trolls from Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, the trolls from castlevania: lords of shadow, and the actual norse mythology because of how they're described, and depicted kind of makes them biologically possible. In a sense, like that could be a real life, primate, or hominid that exists somewhere in Norway or what not. I also Like the trolls in certain parts of media like the Norwegian found footage film troll hunter, Or the Netflix exclusive movie troll because because of how they take kittelson's depictions of the troll from northern European folklore, And turn it into an actual living creature, i also Like the Trolls from the Netflix Exclusive TV series Hilda, along with its corresponding stand alone Film Hilda: and the mountain king because of how they depict trolls, not as mindless stupid monsters, but just as animals living the world, just like any other animal, Doing what they must in order to survive, But in my personal opinion, I think the fact that they included magic and supernatural aspects kind of draws away from the experience because I personally like certain types of fantasy content where they take fantasy things and make them real using biology and other real world things, and the reason I like it when they make fantasy reality using real life Sciences is because it kind of gives me a shred of hope, deep down in my heart, that this is actually real somewhere out there in the wilds of earth, and we just have yet to discover it or study it, for better or for worse. And Before anybody wishes to correct me, I know for a fact that that is not the case even as of yet, but that shred of false hope within my being can sometimes help me get through deep and dark periods of my life. whether it be speculative biology or just sheer creativeness and inspirational genius, seeing things that most people brush off As not real like fantasy creatures, or aliens made reality (and on the topic of aliens are really, really despise The little green men from Mars stereotype. I prefer the aliens from speculative biology, and speculative evolution works like the centaurs from Jay Eaton's run away from the stars or the birrin by Alex Ries) seeing the impossible made possible, makes me just as happy as it would make me is impressed and awed.
