mite mauler bees in action

I did a inspection on a mite mauler nuc this afternoon, it hasn't had any inspection or human assistance in 2 to 3 years. I was scrapping some burr comb off the bottoms of the upper frames, beetles would roll out of every cell hole that was remote or out of the way. The bees would chase them like I have never seen before.

this is so sad even if its just a bee imagine the pain its in

Just the genetics you need. A bee that doesnt just corral hive beetles. A bee that demolishes them to oblivion.
