The Reason He Sold His Green Rolex

Join us at Watchtrader & Co as we buy and sell Rolex watches in our store in the UK.

Having previously purchased a Datejust 41, a customer has come back to add either a Rolex Submariner Hulk or a GMT-Master II Batgirl to his growing watch collection. While the Hulk would compliment the Rolex green theme present in his Wimbledon, the batgirl would provide contrast with its black and blue bezel.

Having barely worn his steel white dial Sky-Dweller since he bought it, one of our previous videos has inspired him to sell it. Jon looks to make him an offer that will seal the deal but will he consign it or sell it directly to WatchTrader & Co?

This young gent has decided it’s time to buy his first luxury watch: A blue dial, blue rubber strapped Omega Seamaster Diver 300m. What a watch to kick start a new collection.

A steel and gold GMT-Master II reference 116713LN and its owner are in the store to see what Jon can offer him for it. The seller has seen them listed online and has a price in mind, but is it realistic in the current market?

A customer has brought in a 2012 Submariner Hulk to find a new home. He purchased the watch back in 2012 as a pre-owned piece that was only 3 months old. This watch has seen a huge increase in popularity and price in the secondary market. It's not a bad reward for keeping it safe for 12 years.

Another tough decision to be made by this gent. Black dial or white dial steel Daytona? He’s got a brand new two tone Submariner Bluesy to part exchange for his dream watch.

In this day and age, it’s important to keep hold of the papers/cards that come with any luxury watch. This customer finds out the hard way what happens when you don’t. This Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean is not immune to that rule.

If you don't believe Rolex are now being worn by the wrong people listen to the grammar on the guy wanting to trade in the white Skydweller.

Nobody is really buying the £15m watches and the higher ones are low on sales. Rolex taking the grey money on mark ups. Us lower level buyers will see even better deals and long may it last.

The first guys big problem was bringing in a partner who has no idea about watches other than talking about the pretty colours.
