The Cerave Skin Renewing Night Cream is actually one of their more well rounded formulas! They pair 3 ceramides with cholesterol but then also add niacinamide, soybean sterols, and phytosphingosine for even better barrier support. They’re not on super high concentrations so I wouldn’t recommend for significant barrier impairment but there’s plenty for daily support. They have the 3 categories we want to see in a well rounded moisturizer (emollients, occlusive ingredients, and humectants) and the ones they’ve chosen are some
of my favorites. Nice high concentration of glycerin, there’s the overhyped HA, and then I find biosaccharide gum 1 and saccharide isomerate to be such fantastic humectants that deserve way more attention. You have some of your more typical emollients and occlusives, the caprylic/capric triglyceride has a dryer feel that contributes to the finish not being overly shiny but shea butter really gives this a lovely application. Definitely won’t be for you if you lean normal to oily (though that isn’t a fault of the product) but great if you lean more dry and paired with a retinoid for PM you really don’t need much else.

The La Roche-Posay Lipikar Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream (Lipikar Balm) is so good for dry skin. It's rich and provides a lot of moisture to the skin. For $20 I think it's pretty affordable considering you get a big 13oz bottle. Hyram I'd love to hear your opinion on the product!

These two are my go to face creams. I use the elf w spf in the day, and cerave at night. (Sometimes I use cerave in the morning too when my skin is dry in the winter)

The cerave night cream is good for dry skin, the lotion cream for oily skin. That’s what Dr. Dray said 😅😊

I accidentally bought the fragrenced one & I literally can’t even use it the fragrance is SO strong !! It’s not too far up on the ingredients but man it feels like it is. One sniff and I feel like I get a pimple from that alone.

They just have reformulated the Cerave night cream in the past few years. Last time I hade it, it was so thick. Now it’s a slightly thinner texture.

I love this product I use it with my tretinoin and the cerave nightly exfoliating treatment.

I'm not a big fan of cerave products, and the night cream is no exception. It pilled on my skin idk why as well as the AM face lotion, it also made my skin so red.. The cleansers and the skin-renewing retinol are ok for me and the eye cream was the only thing that worked for me. I also have uhm in the middle of dry and normal skin with sensitivity.

I have to transition my moisturizer in the summer and winter. Spring and autumn my skin is awesome so I stick to my lightweight moisturizer instead of my thickkk moisturizer 🧴
