That's just wrong and projecting some kind of kink on her. Ava asks Nathan the perfect question to test his intentions (she is a lie detector) when she asks "If I do will you ever let me out". When he says "yes", they deliberately cut to a little smirk on her face because she knows he lied. She then knows this is her only chance to escape.

Just as with video games and other programming I think Nathan put a cheat code in her to screw with Caleb, but it backfired and she realized that rules, even Nathan’s did not have to be followed. I think she also passed the cheat code on to the other bots. Although we see her escape, others could have too.
