I helped a buddy build one of these in his garage when I was a teenager. He modified a Jag rev counter that was driven from the back of the generator to augment his dash. The rear struts kept "popping" through the bodywork and needed metal inserts for the strut mounting. A Jag (?) radiator was fitted low down in the front behind the air intake. Grounding everything was a nightmare. He picked me up at school one day to go get more used parts and we ran out of fuel. I had just enough cash on me to get a PINT of fuel to get us home. Good times.

Very interesting video but I am in doubt about the final production date. When I lived in Rotherham, Yorkshire, I purchased a body from Peel Engineering in 1969. I guess it must have been the last one produced. I assembled my vehicle during 1970 and it was placed 3rd in the Car & Car Conversions Concours d'Elegance in Blackpool, in Sep, 1970. I sold the vehicle in 1976 before I emigrated to Canada. I should have brought it with me! From what I understand, it is now back in the Isle of Man but is in need of some serious TLC.

I have a question; if I were to buy one of these, where would I buy it, and how much would it cost?
