XRT is the off-road variant of the Santa Fe but honestly, it's actually a great alternative. With higher towing capacity and 18" AT tires it not only more capable, it rides softer than 20" alternatives.

Hyundai has a winner here. I've seen a couple on the street, and they look good.
At first I didn't like those low taillights, but they're actually starting to grow on me.
Nice review!

If you pay 6 -7k more you get so many more options with the calligraphy. Plus no one talks about how the chrome trimming inside reflects light and blinds you when you drive lol

I like the fact that Hyundai went with 18" tires with some sidewall since this is the XRT which is a soft roader not an off roader. Not like Mazda's CX 50 which went with 20" on their so called off road package. The only negative to that is it looks like there is no actual spare tire, if I take it to the lake and go thru some sand trails to have a wiener roast in the bush, I want a real spare not an air pump and a bottle of Slime. A tree root can definitely ruin your day when there is no spare. For me living in the country on gravel roads, this is a deal breaker. The style is definitely a polarizing look, you either like it or you don't. Very similar to a Ford Flex and that didn't age well or end of selling well. The bad end is a disaster and hard on the eyes in my opinion, but it's an either love it or hate it look. I wish they'd ditch the DCT and give it a normal automatic which have a better reliability history. Hyundai has had some beautiful styled vehicles, this one they really went out there, it's a totally different look, that doesn't look like anything else in their lineup.
