From Cheap Trick's live album, "Live at Budokan", or in this case "Authorized Greatest Hits." This song is originally by a 50s African American rock and roll singer, known as Fats Domino. Long Live the Rock! Enjoy, I do not own this song.

The BEST version with Bun E’s long, uninterrupted drum intro. Aided by the guitars, but not interrupted. Aided but interrupted.

Mad respect for all the originals and Fats Domino is no exception, but if there was ever a cover that was great in it's own right, this is it!
I have fond memories associated with this song....sort of a victory anthem one night for my buddies and I, way back when it was new. Part of the soundtrack to my life.

My first boyfriend had a beautiful opal color set- and I learned from Live At Budokan! I still play air drums- but actually play the keyboard now!

I have first pressing of the Budokahn CD and the mix is completely different on this track. The guitar riffs from Robin are not the same as on this mix. Anyone know what Gives?

That's an insult to what a great live Band Cheap Trick is.

This is WAY BETTER than the Fats Domino version. Just my opinion.
