Thank you for explaining the 'underdrive'. Was confused why Axial used that term, when everyone else calls it Overdrive when front wheels spin faster than rear. But.. I guess they are changing the rear ratio.. so that's why.

So take those little trans screws out. Take some sheet metal steel drill bend what ever stiffeners from the transmission to the frame. It works I’ve done a custom t-case forward motor mount to axial 3 gears and the t-case 3 gear has what’s I’m taking about just one. Huge stiffness gains.

8:18 epic save! This thing is interesting for sure, but a few design choices bug me. The low slung servo on axle is going to get hit on rocks a LOT, I don't want to use my servo as a rock slider. And an exposed spur and pinion is a bit of a worry for dirt and wires. I like to run batteries up front, could get chewed. Pro kit, pro tinkering required to make it your own.
