VINTAGE AIR KILLER!!!! Just kidding, but this system is completely adequite for my application and wasn't the worst thing to install. Beats not having AC any day of the week at half the price of vintage air... you get what you pay for. I used a the coldmaster 22,000 BTU unit from their website and all products came packaged great and the system turned out well

I bought one of these coldmaster kits for my project truck . How long has it been since you've installed it ? How is everything doing. Im a little worried about the hose clamps they provide, but also include the crimps, which of course they say use one or the other, not both. How have the hose clamps held up with pressure and use ? Any leaks, blowouts or any other issues ?

howdy did you charge with engine running or off? I read with that type engine has to be off? If so how does the freon get sucked in

Is the ac still working good at that angle (*the fan box assembly in the truck)? I have one I'm gonna install in my cummins swapped k20 and want to put it directly behind my glove box... thanks

I want to put this in my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis
I hate belt driven AC and its just a problem every car ive owned. I heard about electric ACs and I thought "why tf not? Just delete it and install the electric one!"

Would you recommend this system? Looking to put it in my 74' Cherokee.

Found this video looking at a cheaper alternative to vintage air. Coincidentally its for a 1977 Jeep J10 pickup. I would recommend use the trans cooler, the pan isnt going to cool it enough. That is a good looking full size jeep. Is it a cherokee or a wide trac waggy? The custom dash looks pretty hood too.

Can it integrate with the factory heat-only air on my 2007 Kia Spectra? Is it electric or mechanical?

Ascend pan is not enough to cool a transmission. If you ever do any really really hard work with it. It will overheat.
