I NEVER THOUGHT THE NEW DISCOVERY 5 WAS THIS GOOD!

I am in a new Land Rover discovery 5 d300 HSE and it has surprised me how good the new facelift model is. It makes my 2018 disco 5 feel old and there are a lot of new refinements that really help level up the new land rover discovery 5.

I have just purchased my 3rd discovery, a slight hiatus between the last one and this, because of the Covid disruption to supply chain.
2012 Discovery 4 HSE - Perfect car (Black on black on black)
2017 Discovery 5 HSE Luxury - all the bells and whisles (silicon silver)
2023 Discovery 5 Metropolitan - Back in the right car for me, (D300)

I have bought discovery D300 in 2022.09 new. Today 2023 november 3 i have done total 71600 km oil changes every 7500 km no problems so far

These vehicle do not have serious problems, they have minor issues that turn into big ones. The QA team should focus on those tiny things giving the vehicles horrid perception and issues.

I've always liked the through behind LR/RR SUV's....but they still need to iron out whatever "bugs" that are preventing their SUV's from being "Reliable". Even in 2024. still lots of reports of =their SUV's being in the shop for months. That it's a= a gabmble...a roll of the dice....i've heard you can "get lucky" and get a reliable Discovery or Defender then the next 5 guys wil get "bad copies"....having to leave theirs in the shop for a month or so...Like what Mercedes went through maybe 10 years ago....I believe they've "cleaned up their act"....MB's used to be "tanks back in the 80's 90's...

Please tell me what Marshall’s you go to be use Bedford Marshall’s are absolutely terrible. Our P400e Range Rover EV battery has failed and we have limited brakes (as there electric) no air con and various other things that fail due to a knackered EV battery. But Marshall’s tell me it’s fine for us to carry on driving for the next 5 weeks until they can change the EV battery.
The last courtesy car we got offered was a Honda Jazz so we’ll done getting a Land Rover from a Land Rover dealership 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
