Java for Beginners: MyApp -- Our first Java Application

Hello and welcome to our Java series for beginners. In this tutorial, we will write our first Java application. The application itself is pretty basic, but don't let that dissuade you from this tutorial -- this deceptively simple application covers some of the most essential Java concepts and ideas such as classes and objects and the use of keywords such as public static and void. To try to move ahead without first getting these basics right is something we definitely will not recommend!
