12’ flat bottom aluminum with a 5hp Honda is my favorite. I haul on my roof rack.

So you’re telling me if a hook gets stuck in the side that thing isn’t gonna leak air!!? Doubt that

Its not stable. Secondary stability is questionable especially in ocean.

That's for people with more money than they know what to do with!

It's not the air that makes it stable, it's the width. Think about other boats like a johnboat. The water below can't tell if it's an inflatable or not. Both are just displacing water.

Inflatables have a level of added security (as long as a hook or sharp rock doesn't pop it) over an aluminum boat because it's a sealed hull. I'd be more willing to take this into 3-4 ft waves than a jonboat, but the number of dents and dings in my boat make me skeptical this would last more than a few seasons. My boat was made in 1974.

That certainly is a bad ass little boat.

I’d inflate it and try my hardest to make a mold on the outside of it but it of fiberglass or something to add some protection. Keep a way to keep inflating and you good !

Put a 200hp motor on it and I’m very interested 😎

I’ve been thinking of buying something similar that rolls into a bag that i can throw in the car or caravan. I have boats and jet skis but different things have different uses and advantages.

This is for someone who has no fear of anything remotely sharp, I’m out and for 3k yeah I’ll stick with aluminum boats lol.

Nah I'm good. Saw a guy who bought something like this only more expensive and a bit larger. Very first time out he caught about a 4 foot Swordfish and wham. Giant gash in the side of it. And if he didn't have a full size repair kit patch then it woulda been a realllly bad day.

That's for people that couldn't get to Amarina to drop their Boat off when COVID started But people with kayaks were able to go to a secret spot to put their kayaks in

A good paddle board 1/4 of the size of that is easily $500. So I’m not surprised that rig is $3k. Truthfully, after owning an inflatable paddle board, I trust them quite a lot. It’s surprisingly hard to puncture them. In a river, this would be more than adequate for most people. Biggest concern would be losing the motor if it did get punctured.
