Alternatively, maybe the less steep downward ETH/BTC slope reflects ETH strength and resistance this cycle, so the burst upward in the alt season will be particularly strong relative to prior cycles.

I think people aren't contemplating a scenario where Ethereum goes below 1k, could even hit 300 dollars which would be brutal for altcoins. Bitcoin seems to be ready to explode up to 85k, harsh reality kicking in.

It's strong technical analysis.

However, and as many know, fundamentals also will play an increasing role in Ethereum's future - And the fundamentals are very good.

Also, beyond Bitcoin, the general public still doesn't yet know the brand of Ethereum.

And also 43% of investors in a recent survey.

Blackrock has also stated "There is no more appetite for any more ETFs right now, " and this could be correlated to lack of brand awareness.

I think Ethereum will soon experience a real reversal trend with it's BTC pairing.

Wow that's really eye-opening how the ethusd monthly candles for 2016 and 2024 have been identical so far. I think by the end of this year, it will be an 11 out of 12 match with the only difference being this month, September, being a red month.
