Solid video! I might have a tip for people who are working at their dream company, but don't work at their dream position: Be very clear about your ambitions, the skills that you pocess and make clear what you want to achieve in the future. Your performance appraisal or an informal talk with your boss during your breaks would be perfect for this. There are two ways in which this can help you: 1. Your boss knows what you want to achieve and might think of you when there are openings. 2. When you don't have the particular skillset for the position, your boss could direct you to courses to follow to gain the skills that will make you right for the job resulting in getting the job.

Pro-activity is key, I have (many) personal examples to back this up haha.

Come to think of it, a video about making a career within a company would actually be pretty cool.

Great tips and very useful! I admire the picture at 3:18, that's my dream job! Especially for this type of job it's useful to get insider information, because being a pilot is not always as fancy as it may seem and it comes with a lot of difficulties. After hearing stories from actual pilots I decided to study something else first before going into any kind of flight training. I'm sure there are more jobs like this which look great from the outside, but which require a good understanding of the inside. When taking these difficulties into account, you are in a stronger position to face the future.
