This is in the running for one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.

Beautiful, poignant, and dramatic performance. The right pace, the right accoustics, and the right balance between the different voices (neither too top-heavy, like many choirs, nor muddy in the lower voices), allow this wonderful piece to bloom and swell in our hearts

When my choir did that we were much more aggressive,
I’m not used to this chill version, I like it.

I sang this in high school for Texas all-state choir in 1980. This is a beautiful performance, and it brought back memories.

Very well done production of this classic work of Casals. It is moving and makes me ponder about Our Lady of Sorrows.

When I heard those powerful and nicely resonating F2s I was really looking forward to the C2 at the end. It's quite a pity that no one got down there

Very beautiful and meaningful. Did he write just this one expert anthem and a cello piece?
