Don't worry so much about expiring date for pigments and powders, because they have no cremes inside of them, so the only thing is they can lose pigmentation after years, but that's all. If you feel a bad smell ok, throw them away, but no problem in other cases :)

Watching your reviews of all the Essence palettes really makes me want to try some of them. I have only recently been getting into drugstore price range palettes (I went for years just using eyeshadow singles or duos with an occasional quad to create my own looks). But palettes make it so much easier! My favorite at the moment is the Makeup Revolution collab with Youtuber Emily Noel - - "The Wants" Emily Edit. The formula is wonderful & it's so affordable for 24 beautiful shades with varying finishes. I don't have the SophX palettes, but I highly suspect they are the same formula-wise. (My niece in Scotland really loves the first SophX collab palette.) I also love the 10-pan Wet n Wild palettes (I have the two that you showed in this video). The Rose' in the Air is my favorite. Have you done a review of the brightly colored NYX palette you showed? I've been eyeballing that one for a while & wondered how it performs, as those colors are gorgeous! 😍
