You could still play this in any club in the world and the place would erupt, a timeless work of pure musical genius

Prodigy are timeless. Their tracks are like fine wine, they just get better with age.

Prodigy should be recognized at the same level as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Nirvana. They inspired whole 90s generation and change the course of music. Most influential group of the 90s

Tearing up as I watch these videos. My mum, who was an old school raver also hung herself a year ago. She was 49, just like Keith. They died a month a part. She gave me music for the jilted when I was just 13. Didn't know what to make of it haha. Like Keith she was a free spirited and sensitive soul. He expressed himself via music, her art. She became well known for painting UV backdrops for clubs around the country in the 90s. Her crowing glory was having a feature written on her in MixMag. She was buzzing that people were appreciating her mad tapestries and dreamscapes. She found spiritual liberty within the rave scene. Halcyon, on and on.

It breaks my heart to see such unique and passionate lives lost. Although, for many, after the true rave years ended it was hard to find peace with the universe.

Much love, and RIP xx

My country is Serbia (part of ex Yugoslavia) and Prodigy was the first foreign band which played concert in my country after war ended. They came literally 3 weaks after ending of war in prime of their popularity. The concert was amazing and members behaved like we are "normal" country without fear or prejudices. I just can't describe how enormously my people are thankful to Prodigy for that greatness. After 4 years of suffering and horribleness, that concert was the most beautiful thing that happened to Serbian people. It was so huge that even we younger generations who even wasn't born at that time, know about it.

I can remember being absolutely blown away by how aggressive this sounded when it first came out. Masterpiece.

It's 1994, you just bought Music for the Jilted Generation on CD or cassette from the record shop. You invite your friends over for the weekend when your parents are away. You put on this track and everyone starts dancing. You have no worries in the whole wide world. Carefree and happy. Those were the days.
