Nice bike! My next one will be the same digital camo, I think is the proper name . I have an 08 with 30, 000 miles. lexx exhaust, jetted carb, airbox mod etc...My bike has been as reliable as a hammer! Only been to shop once in 9 years! I also did the 16tooth n gonna upgrade my forks here soon with progressive springs. I had a dead short in wiring harness where it flex from steering and i was working crazy hours n not time to fix on my own so I had it dropped off at shop or it would of never been to a shop. Nice thing about these bikes is they're simple and we can do most work that they need, and most is just simple maintenance. You got a nice ride there bud!

Hey Rankin! Just saw your 2016 KLR video where you mentioned you were using a "waterless coolant." How is that working for you? Positives? Negatives? I've seen the advertisements and am looking for more information. Would it void the OEM warranty? Have you had the opportunity to dig into the engine to take a look at the coolant passages for damage? Thanks, I'm looking forward to your reply. I just bought a 2018 KLR, my second KLR, and want to keep it in top shape.

I cut my the bottom 1/8 off the Ram mount phone holder, super glued plastic on the back, added the lower piece again with super glue and now the mount fits Samsung 8s. The mount kinda looks like Frankenstein's forehead but, it works well. So far.
