Sega Genesis Classics (Switch) Review

This is my review of Sega Genesis Classics for the Nintendo Switch! Enjoy :)

I'm sad that Sonic 3 wasn't added, but this is still a solid collection despite it. I never had a chance to play Vectorman 1 or 2 growing up, but I do now and those games kick ass!

The lack of the Wonderboy games broke this for me, especially since the new Monsterboy game came out. I’ll wait for a sale or get the PS4 version now.

Steam version has five exclusive games. Ecco series (3 games), Eternal Champions and Sonic 3 & Knuckles respectively.

I just got this version and it plays really well; I haven't noticed any input lag considered I played the hell out of the streets of rage trilogy. Btw virtua fighter 2 is really underrated on the genesis!

Given they remade Wonder Boy and it's fantastic with a lot of features I'm not so bothered by the original not being on Switch.
The remake is vastly better, hand drawn visuals, redone music with real instruments and the ability to switch to the original pixel art with a press of the button. You can even play as a girl. Not that it matters given what happens in the story.

Either way, interesting review. It is more annoying that they removed Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Dunno what's going on with that game but they don't seem to want to put that game out on anything.

Wonder Boy in Monster World is an amazing game, and I would buy the Switch version if it had it. But... nope. Why the Hell did they exclude it? I swear, people in charge of the gaming industry are all clueless.

Even though I'm a Nintendo guy I have to say this collection is amazing the filler games are even good really everything on here is fun even though I'm kinda meh on altar beast I can still see myaelf doing a playthrough

Half a second input lag? Wtf? 500ms is not an insignificant amount of lag. It’s massive. Are you sure about that?

The bottom shelf is almost empty... was or are the idea DLC games ..and in this case I wonder why havent we got any one yet after all the time since the main game was released
