I'm loving the '14th century surgeon' approach to vintage console modding

The scope of your technical engineering genius literally knows no bounds

Watching the relatively delicate Koei Pasogo LCD repair job and then watching this is absolute whiplash. 10/10. The ideal way to play Super Gameboy.

the “fuck it that’ll do” energy is so palpable in this video and i absolutely adore it

For a long time I felt bad for James for seeming relatively "sane" and having to deal with Wade's shenanigans, but it turns out James is also insane. I love it.

The absolute balls on James to make this his first video, knowing it will make the hardcore SNES fans seethe with rage is why I'm subbing

Words cannot express how starkly different yet similar you and wade are.

I've always been afraid of accidentally destroying computer components by touching them in the wrong way. James, your channel has some how just obliterated my fear because I don't think I can ever do what you do here.
AND IT WORKS.
James, you're like an incredible expert engineer that has been imprinted with arcane unholy knowledge and have thus created an Eldritch child.
I stand in awe and await some more.

I've never seen someone defile a machine so thoroughly and still have it be useful. If I saw someone playing on this in public I'd probably beat them to death with my bare hands. Excellent work.

James has the Same Chaotic energy as wade, yet so much more precise it’s like watching a Lazy chef who’s great at cooking without trying. I absolutely love it

James and Wade are like Ying and Yang, one is calm and soothing and the other is a screaming ADHD fueled by monster energy drinks.

60% tape, 30% hot glue, 9.999% snes, 0.001% (?). Loved the vibe.

The way the cartridge doubles as a kickstand is a testament to James' genius

James is singlehandedly keeping the hot glue and duct tape industry alive and thriving

This may literally be the greatest console to hand held I have ever seen! You literally cavemanned those electronics into submission with clippers and duct tape! Incredible subbed and liked

Me: Mom, can we have portable SNES?
Mom: No, we have portable SNES at home.

I love how he clearly knows exactly what he is doing since he didn't run into any issues from removing parts the way he was, so he clearly knows the best ways to do something like this, but instead he chose to wrap the whole thing in duct tape and call it a day

I run a repair shop in Greece. One of the first videos I saw of your work I thought you were a mad scientist….

Nothing has changed…..

The sheer confidence in this man to just cut things up so haphazardly yet so knowledgably, I feel like I'm watching an oximoron and I love it. Good video

I've imagined this channel to be quiet and calm. But this is making me crack up just as much as Wade does. You manage to portray such chaotic calmness, love it!
