Hi Quentin, I noticed at minute marker 5:34 the command "valet install" didn't work after adding the .composer path to $PATH because you forgot the command "source .zshrc" after echoing the string to ~/.zshrc. Something that I caught, in case you were still figuring out that issue. Take care

QW, hi...I've studied up on WP itself but have not yet "done" it. I am "stuck" at a prior step!! -- I am a newbie wanting to try doing local development while avoiding MAMP. I sure wish someone would do a video comparing Laravel Valet (Mac) versus LOCAL (formerly "by Flywheel") and indicating the STRENGTHS of each and the BEST USER CASE/PROFILE for each. From what I have seen and read, I am leaning toward Laravel Valet over LOCAL...but I still need more "Decision Tree" information! -- And is Laravel Valet (Mac) still a recommendable tool in mid-2021.

Thank you Quentin. Very clear tutorial. I was just stuck for a while on setting the correct path permanently on my mac. I found that only the .bash_profile file was read not the .bashrc.

Hello, thanks for the great tutorial. However I'm having some issues when it comes to ping the .test address. It keeps coming up with:
Request timeout for icmp_seq 0
Request timeout for icmp_seq 1
Request timeout for icmp_seq 2

...etc etc

What does this mean? I can't seem to get any concrete answers via Stack overflow or anywhere
