Hi, David! Hope all has been fantastic! Thanks for all your knowledge put into your content!

So, there is a way to re-size a cue list, to make it smaller (half the size of the bottom control space). And once you do that, you can quickly drag down any preset, creating a button alongside the cue list, on the one live page.

I am not sure if this is a newer update but I would love if you could do a tutorial utilizing this feature and how we could use both the cue lists and buttons together, more like a lighting console has. 😁

I hope this makes sense. Thanks so much in advance!

I don’t care what this guy says. Lightkey is great for theatre, especially if your show doesn’t involve complicated lighting. I’ve searched hell and high water and this is so affordable, simple (especially if you’re like me that knows nothing about lighting) and you can create the basics of lighting and effects for a good children’s theatre show.

That stupid ETC nomad is so complicated and I still don’t even know what equipment or how to connect the lighting is done. This is so amazing!

Hello, I am new to lighting. How do you actually set up your light? This is before you start programming them.

What are your thoughts about using an external controller with light key.. do you recommend any? Do you have any videos of some using light key?

Good morning, could you do a video on patching a fixture when I already have Lightkey set up? Thanks

Great video! One question. I wanted to be able to set each light in a group to a different color and/or dimmer setting, do i have to set a different, ungrouped preset for each light? Or can I set each one to a different color within the group? Hope that makes sense, when I try double clicking on the individual light, it still changes the color for everything in the group.

I love LightKey, and use it for a couple different venues, but struggling to get a Blizzard AutoBahn 8 artnet controller to connect to it. We got it for a theater in order to have enough dmx capability to run movers and the stage lighting with. We knew it was an older device, but had heard they were rock solid and a good choice for permanent installations that have to interface with outside acts coming in with their own gear and controllers.

That all said, despite setting it up how I would most other artnet interfaces, LightKey just does not see it, despite seeing the activity light go nuts when trying to poll the network for finding it. Have you ever put an AutoBahn8 with LightKey? If so, how'd you get it to see it?

I'm completely new to this, do I have to set my lights to the DMX channel that I assigned the fixture to in the software? I don't see that mentioned anywhere but maybe that's just assumed? I'm using the DMX USB ette 512 interface (i know it is not ette... I'm not by the box right now but it's the blue box one)

How do we setup wireless DMX/ArtNet with just a wifi router and not DMX interface (Cause the lights are wireless, I don't need a DMX Interface)

This was not quite the getting started video I expected. The concepts all require an awful lot of prerequisite knowledge. I needed something beginning with, “Here is how you add one stationary light, and this is how you control it."

So the owner of the company I work for bought a bunch of “Chinese” lights fro eBay that I can’t find a listing for. How can I add those in??

Why cant i figure out how to add another fixture after I've saved my project and come back to it at a later date. Actually I can't figure out how to add a fixture once I get out of that initial wizard to add the first ones after creating a new project.

Hey David - I have an Enttec DMXIS box that I used with DMXIS and I’m looking to switch to Lightkey. Do you think that box will work or do you recommend getting a new one? Thanks!
