Are you ready to unleash your creativity with the Baby Lock Allegro - the ultimate quilting, sewing, and crafting sewing machine?

Get yours here:

With its user-friendly design and advanced features, this sewing machine is perfect for both beginner sewists and pros alike.

Let's touch on some features!

This machine has a large throat space - the space you have to the right of the needle. The larger project your sewing machine can handle.

A large throat space is handy with garment sewing, with all that room to work, but imagine how much easier it would be for you to do your quilting or free-motion sewing if you had 12" of space!

The Baby Lock Allegro is a high-performance sewing machine packed with 200 built-in stitches, 7mm stitch width, a built-in needle threader, bobbin winder, of course, the amazing 12" throat space, push-button, knee lifter, free arm, adjustable foot pressure, built-in storage, and more.

So what does all that mean and why do you need it?

200 Built-in Stitches: One of the standout features of the Baby Lock Allegro is its 200 built-in stitches. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sewer, this machine has the right stitch for you. With so many options, you'll be able to create a variety of designs, from simple hems to intricate pieces.

7mm Stitch Width: The Baby Lock Allegro boasts a 7mm stitch width. You may see a 5mm stitch width or 9mm stitch width, but it is often argued that the 7mm stitch width provides the most beautiful, balanced stitch.

Built-in Needle Threader: Sewing should be an enjoyable experience, not a struggle. That's why the Baby Lock Allegro comes with a built-in needle threader, making it effortless to thread your machine. This feature saves you time and eliminates the frustration of threading the needle yourself.

Bobbin Winder: The Baby Lock Allegro also includes a built-in bobbin winder. This makes it easy to fill your bobbin and start sewing right away. Fill up several bobbins before you begin your project and you'll be ready to go.

Push-Button Features: The Baby Lock Allegro is packed with convenient push-button features, making it a breeze to use. The buttons are strategically located for easy access. Switch stitches, adjust the needle position, and more, with just the touch of a button.

Knee Lifter: The Baby Lock Allegro comes with a knee lifter. The knee lifter allows you to lift and lower the presser foot hands-free. This makes it easier to manage your fabric, freeing up your hands to manipulate the fabric just so, making your sewing experience more enjoyable and it helps you yield better results.

Free Arm: The Baby Lock Allegro also features a free arm. This is necessary when sewing cuffs, sleeves, and other small, circular items. The free arm provides a smooth and even surface to work on. The versatility this feature opens up is endless! The Baby Lock Allegro is marketed as a quilting machine, because -you guessed it, that large throat space is perfect for quilting, but this free arm option means, you won't just be sewing quilts, but you'll be sewing your grandbaby's dress or sewing yourself the perfect blouse. No problems sewing those sleeves!

Adjustable Foot Pressure: The Baby Lock Allegro has adjustable foot pressure, allowing you to tailor the pressure to your fabric type. This means you can sew lightweight, delicate fabrics and heavy-duty fabrics with equal ease.

Built-in Storage: Finally, the Baby Lock Allegro has built-in storage, so you can keep all your accessories and feet organized and within reach. This feature makes it easy to switch feet as they are right there for you to swap out as needed.

There are so many wonderful features that this machine offers, I can't name them all in this video.

In conclusion, the Baby Lock Allegro is a high-performance sewing machine packed with features that make sewing easy, enjoyable, and efficient.

I just ordered this machine. I’m excited because of the auto threader, the adjustable speed, etc. My 40 year old Singer has been reliable but it’s not keeping the tension. So I’m excited.

A deep dive on reddit and asking direct questions got me my answers with Allegro. I have 3 other baby lock machines that run like a dream. Avoid Allegro. It's not like the other baby lock machines at all. I bought one brand new, started having trouble immediately. The machine has engineering flaws. One critical - the thread cutter prevents an easy release or insertion of the bobbin and it never stays in the right place. You can't be a quilter with a bobbin that wont just drop into place and come out easily. I took it to a dealer, they found 4 things wrong right away. A tech had to recalibrate the upper tension before I could even get the proper tension to sew. The bobbin winder tensioner was useless, they cant fix it so they tell you to wrap it twice in the tensioner? (ha! friction and stretching the thread before it ever sews?). The auto needle threader is old style and hard to use. Mine had to be returned to the West Coast from Florida. It's turned into a 6 week long nightmare to get it back to where I bought it. (Still no return label from dealer) Bad design, just don't.

I’ve been watching all the reviews.I want to upgrade from my brother machine and looking at the Babylock Allegro and Jazz 2.I see a lot of complaints about the Allegro but haven’t seen any bad reviews on the Jazz, so, guess I’m getting a Jazz 2.

Does the foot have the ability to cut your thread? Like where you rock back on the foot and it cuts your thread up on the machine?

I just got an allegro machine. 1300 dollars and it wouldn’t sew, kept jamming up right out of the box. I called them and they talked me though some things that did not help . So 3 days after if arrived I boxed it back up and they came and got it. Don’t know if I will ever trust it to sew right.

For that kind of money it should have a built in dual feed. Other than the extra large throat space, my 400 dollar Brother does everything else this machine does. And it has a better designed automatic threader to boot. Also came with 290 built in stitches and she has worked with no problems almost every day for more than 5 years. I love her. LOL

Can you move the straight stitch needle left and right?

I'm trying to find how to move my Allegro needle to do a scant 1/4". Each arrow key I push moves it too far, just want it to move over one thread. Thank you!

Is it possible to move the needle left and right? I want to nudge it when using a straight stitch.

From all the reviews I have read online and here, this machine is a big clunker. Glad I checked it out before I bought one. It sounds like Baby Lock needs to fix the bugs.

I do not like this machine at all! I have tried to do pant hems, and the machine does not want to go thru the material. Every time I go to use the machine, I have to put a drop of oil in the bobbin area. This was the biggest waste of $1300 I have ever spent. Now that I have wasted all this money, I have no money in my budget to buy something different.
So upset 😡
