What are Coax Cable Splitters? How do Cable Splitters work? Splitters distribute incoming signal from the antenna to each output port and distribute the signal evenly. They are used in signal distribution systems to split the amplified signal to multiple indoor antennas with minimal signal loss.

Recently, WilsonPro changed the design of its splitters so they take up less space, as well as make it easier to install.

Previously, our splitters have been designed with output ports on the sides of the splitter. Our new, in-line design takes up less space, and makes for a cleaner installation.

This new in-line design also reduces potential cable fail points. Low-Loss coaxial cable is heavy and when installed at a 90-degree angle it puts pressure on cable solder points. In-line design reduces hard bends that put stress on cable and connectors. The last thing an installer wants is to go back to a job to fix a cable fail issue.

Wilson electronics offers 2, 3, and even 4-way splitters all with minimal signal loss.

we have internet only at our house and need a 5 way splitter so we can place the modem in the best possible room. will these work in the service box located outside on our wall? And how do those powered amplifiers work? Do they get plugged inside and the splitter is located outside?

Sister in nursing home w/ roommate. Cable in to splitter so both tvs get signal. Both have Visio TVs and remotes annoyingly work each other’s TV. Can I fix this or should I just get a universal remote for my sister’s TV?

ha, i got here looking for the lower end of the cat tv freq range. knowing that days of old they would usualy list x -1ghz and then x-2000mhz but forgeting what x is. when you started talking antennas i realized this is not the droid i seek. I kept watching and am lett with the question... what happens when the not mentioned installer does something like omni directional for the uplink or (were getting crazy now) is on the roof and in a moment of malice or ADD ends up with directional antennas for down link and uplink pointed at different towers :D you kinda illude to a non duplexed system but i suppose that could be to simplify the explanation and or marketing. Also has me wondering how this works or doesnt with mimo and or towers atempting to beamform (which i dont recall if thats in 4g or coming with 5g but i know mimo has been implemented in 4g) (the fun but improbable extream that requires bad radio control firware and beamforming on a per user basis... is already near to tower repearter system bursting into flames as more and more 2.x ghz beams are directed at it :D i understand even inverse square law makes this unlikely and erp guidelines probably get in the way too but hey VLF HAARP could trip aruaras so what the hell. ) and iirc one of the cell bands is around 2.1ghz vs the 2.4ghz pop corn and box meal heater so its a fun thought)

All you need to know... how many times can I split a cable without needing to boost the signal. Terrible video, rather an admission that your original design was shit and now you have an inline design. Waste of time, call your video, the new wilson pro cable splitter not an attention grabbing title that doesn’t live up to its name.
