Kent teams up with good friend Billy Aerts on a special performance of "It Sure Took a Long, Long Time". This Song charted as high as #3 on the Hot AC charts!

Throughout his career, American singer-songwriter and producer Lobo managed to release hit after hit, while staying relatively out of the spotlight. After releasing “Me and You and a Dog Named Boo”, which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1971, Lobo released 16 studio albums, charted another 7 Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 songs including 3 in the Top Ten, and another 13 Top 25 hits on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts, including 9 in the Top Ten and 4 No. 1’s. His smash hit “I’d Love You to Want Me” went No. 1 in almost every country. After touring globally for many years, Lobo now enjoys living a relatively quiet life with his wife, Susie.

Used to listen to Lobo while in the US Army Germany in the 70's. Recorded his great songs on my reel to reel. Now I'm in my 70's and still listen to my favorite artist.

Dear Kent “Lobo” LaVoie,
I’m a 64 year old brazilian guy who grew up listening to your beautifull songs. There’s four of your songs that me and my brother (and even my 40 year old son!) would love to watch you play and sing: “Rock And Roll Days”, “There Ain’t No Way”, “Love Me For What I Am” and “A Big Red Kite”. Please, sing them for us: Roberto, Claudio & Daniel and for all your Brazilian fans!

Mine and my wife's song! That's EXACTLY what happened from elementary school through high school! Married after I graduated high school. Married 47 years now!

I love your writing sir, and I do sing your smash hit, "I'd love you to want me". People come up to me and ask me, who sings that song, so I explain who you are and your other songs you released on vinyl...aloha from Hawaii 🤙❤️

Lobo's voice is still clear and touching! A gifted artist and performer. I've listen to his hits over and over. I really think he was ahead of his time and given a gift from God!
