I switched from Android to iOS about 8 years ago. My gateway drug was surprisingly the OG 12.9inch iPad Pro from 2015. That thing was sooo good (iOS was super smooth and stable) that it finally convinced that to jump ship to the “dark side”. Picked up an iPhone 7 Plus shortly after, then the Apple Watch Series 2, then the OG AirPods, then the 12inch MacBook (I wish they would revive this with an M Series chip) and it just expanded from there. Fast forward to the current time and I still have no desire to go back to Android at all. The Foldables looked tempting at first but the thought of losing the Apple Ecosystem immediately turned me off from getting it. It may be a walled garden yes but it’s an incredibly beautiful one at that and I like staying here 😅

My ecosystem did not see its worth until i got my first MacBook in 2015. Within the next decade, Apple made it the most friendly user experience. I own an iPhone, MacBook Air M3, Apple Watch, iPad Pro M2, Beats Studio Pro, AirPods Pro, and will continue to grow.

I believe one reason apple ecosystem feels so appealing is consistency across devices. You have consistency in the brand, the design, the interface, the build quality, and ofcourse the aesthetic. None of the other brands could crack it yet.

I’m in the Apple ecosystem for a long time now. It’s my preferred choice to use Apple products and services. I’m not blind to other companies, though. Once in a while I buy additional devices from other companies simply because I’m interested in what they are offering. Those devices aren’t replacements and/or daily drivers, they’re just products that I buy for my own curiosity. And finally, it doesn’t matter what brands you buy. As long as they suit your needs, that’s all that matters. We all have personal preferences and needs for a particular tech gadget. What’s your spending limit/budget? Do you want it or do you need it? What is the most important feature of a given tech gadget for you? And I can go on and on. Buy what suits you best and enjoy it as long as possible!

I don't mind that is a close ecosystem. This is coming from an Android user who started using an iPhone with the 7. I use whatever is best for me at the moment. I'm not loyal to a company. I like to learn as much as I can from all tech. For now, I'm 95 percent Apple's only thing I'm missing is an Apple computer.

I have an iPhone 15, Macbook Air M2 with an Apple Mouse, iPad Air M1, Apple Pencil, Apple Watch Series 9, Airpods 3rd Gen, AirPods Pro 2, and AirPods Max. I love how the ecosystem and its devices work for me. It makes my workflow and personal hobbies so much better. It is so worth it that I find it hard to go back to Android and/or Windows. I love how Apple carefully thinks about your case scenarios and the way they make me take care of my health and lifestyle.

Closed ecosystem is a good thing because an open ecosystem has fragmentation.

I finalized my apple ecosystem when I got a MacBook pro. I was 13 years on android (2010-2023), the last 11 of those years on Samsung and made the switch early 2023 to apple and have not looked back. Love my decision on switching.

My first apple product was an Iphone 4. Then a 2012 Macbook Pro. I have tried almost of their products and services. Finally, have the perfect set up for me: Iphone 15 Pro Max, 10th gen Ipad, M1 Macbook Pro, Series 7 iwatch and airpods pro. Services wise I buy all media through them and apple music. Im locked in pretty much.

Ive been using Apple products since 2005. (We had Mac in school as well in the 90s.)
I tried Windows and Android at the same time but Apple’s ecosystem worked out the best for me.

I love the Apple ecosystem. I am stuck on some of the features like Facetiime. Not sure if I can live without it. But, I love the look of the Samsung 24s. Great Video keep up the great content.

I’m one of those strange people who have both the Apple and Samsung ecosystems. I have an iPhone and a ZFold, and iPad Pro and a Tab S9 Ultra. I have AirPods and Galaxy Buds. I have an Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch. Beyond that I have a pair of Samsung TV’s. I do have Macs, but no Samsung laptop. My home setup is all HomeKit, though, with no Bixby.

THANK YOU. I hate all the unnecessary hate the Magic Mouse gets.

I am deep in the Apple Eco System, i love how all of the products are seamlessly integrated together, and how my wife and i can share between them, and CarPlay too! Even the lighting in my house. My first device goes back to the iPod Nano, then the iPhone 4…. I would say i am an Apple Fan Boy.

For video/photo editing, the Apple ecosystem is beautiful. I can’t imagine how complicated my workflow would be on Windows

I was gifted with a mini ipad second generation and had a iPhone 6s with a mac air pro as a laptop. Then I had a applewatch se first generation. When my iPhone 6s conked out because of the battery, I switched to iphone se second generation. I am into the ecosystem even if i also into the google ecosystem but nothing beats the apple ecosystem. It is its durability and the updates that they have for the gadgets even it is already 4 or 5 years old.

My first Apple product was a hand-me-down iPhone 6 and later an iPad 7 which I got after it served as the family tablet. I soon got my hands on a MacBook Air which made me fall in love with it and developed new hobbies. However, after being an Apple user for so long, I came to the conclusion that the MacBook (and AirPods) is what held it together. If you asked me, Android tablets and smartphones are way cooler for a similar price, the same cannot be said about laptops. The thought of switching to Samsung completely crossed my mind but I cannot pull the trigger because of their bad laptops. I ended up sticking with Apple, loving the MacBook everyday. I starting liking macOS for its uniformity across the OS and its hidden gems, the AirPods are also the best sounding and comfortable earbuds that I own. These 2 became the central of my ecosystem, not the iPhone or the iPad.

Havent been an iPhone user since I went from the 5S to an S7 Edge (had Galaxy Nexus before the 5S). However I had the first iPad, iPad air, I'm on my 2nd iPad Pro and my 3rd MacBook Pro, and have AirPod Pro 2s. I think I'm going to finally make the jump and go from an S23 Ultra, to an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and eventually a watch (Ive had a Galaxy Watch 4 for a few years). With the great experience with my other devices and the 16 looking like a decent place to jump in, plus Ill be returning my phone to my carrier in a few months, the timing kind of works out! Sure there are some things from Android I will miss, but honestly 99 percent of what I do with my current phone is covered and much of that I think will feel better on a day to day basis on iOS.
