Ive bought this bike new this year and I absolutely love it. I havent bought it for the track and i wont be modifying the exhaust. It just serves me really well as a local sporty ride. Thanks so much for this review.

I believe this is the most comprehensive and on-point review of the ZX6R 2024, and I have seen almost all of them. Great job, Peter!

Without ride by wire, you cannot add a down shifter. The ride by wire allows the ecu to rev match.

I agree with everything. Owning one my only wish was the rev matching down shifter. Amazing bike

I loved this bike when Kawasaki introduce it to the market. Since then I am using it with love. One of the best bikes ever made as Super Sport Road bike. Never been to the track, just long rides on the roads. My new Kawasaki Zx636r will be 2025 model, grey blue one. Thank you for the video. 👍🙏🏻⚓️

Thank you for a great review. I appreciate that you have explained the significance of technical terms in a layman's words, so easy for me to understand and to make a choice if I would want this or not as my riding experience. Thank you Peter!

Is there a way to turn off the check engine light and is there a way to check the check engine codes?

there’s no way yall don’t buy a bike because of an auto blip. Use ur clutch dude it’s a motorcycle. Unless yall are pro level track riders, you don’t need it

Is the white/grey/red color scheme available in Canada or is that only in the U.S.?

Another thing they (should have done) when doing the redesign/refresh of the bike would be to factory-install a Steering Dampener.
They sell it as an after-market add-on, but seriously - there are so many youtube videos and reddit posts showing these bikes going into tanks slapper / death wobble territory.
Definitely a design flaw on the part of Kawasaki - and they should have addressed it by now.
The Ohlins steering dampeners are even available to purchase (on the USA Kawasaki site) - so clearly they know about the issue - yet make you buy it as an extra.
It should be pre-installed as a safety feature - at the factory.

Is there an option for the ZX6R to pick Brembo brakes from the dealership add on?

Does the 40th anniversary come with anything different apart from the paint. Cheers i already have 500 and zx4rr 40th and its going to be either 25 650 krt or zx6r in 40th but I think zx6 is too much for me and with the 650 i could ride with the Mrs easier (500 she'll ride)

I think Peter you have to have ride-by-wire before up and down quick shifter can be fitted. The ZX 6R is still cable operated throttle. Thanks for offering some good points in the ZX 6R’s defence.

My zx4rr 40th cost $15000 the zx6r 40th they want $18200. I don't know if it's too much bike for me honestly. That's why deposit down for 650 when shipment arrives. What would you do

If it had ride by wire like its smaller and bigger siblings, I would consider buying this. But nope, they decided not too. Maybe in a year or two with a refresh.

Pete, I'm going to order one these bikes. I've test rode one and love the low end/ mid range power. I'd like an aftermarket exhaust on it to save some weight. Would putting an akrapovic end can and link pipe on change the character of the bike much?
