HOW TO ADD AN E-SATA/SATA CARD TO YOUR COMPUTER

👉SUBSCRIBE! In this video I'll show you how to add an E-SATA or SATA card to your computer so you can use external SATA hard drives. I'll be using the Hommie 2 port eSATA & 2 port SATA 3.0 PCI-E card. This card is sold under different names on Amazon. You can use either the 2 external ports, or the 2 internal ports, or 1-and-1. It's all determined by the jumpers. This process is the same for any SATA/eSATA card.

I'll be installing the card in an HP Z820, but the process is similar for any computer.

Thanks Man I bought a 4 port SATA Card recently a few Months ago worked fine with 1 Hard Drive attached I then decided to add another one to it however the Bios Saw it but Windows 10 didn't as soon as I installed the Drivers from the Disc I forgot I had thanks for the reminder lol it worked great Thanks for the Video! :D

My sata ports on my mobo is blocked by my gpu so that i cant use my ssd if the gpu is connected, so if i buy this card i can plug my ssd through this card?

Hey this is great video what I need.
Never know about the jumpers to make connections, too bad can't utilize all four.
I think it set two internal connections by default, bcoz I just plugged it and ran.
But how to make the hdd on the pci detected in the BIOS? Mine not and there isn't a manual for the driver too.
