Anything up to the mid 80s was 95 % faultless for kit design in the sport. Ironic that when fashion started to get really cool with baggy jeans and everything, the kits however started to raise eyebrows. Classic example was Scotland's away with the purple lines scattered everywhere like parcel string cut open. Don't forget the horrible yellow and black Nottingham Forest one when they advertised Labbats.

I would suggest the 1990-91 Hummel kit as being one of the worst. Kits of that era were baggy and badly designed anyway (maybe they were expecting the players to grow into them?) but what were those stupid chevrons all about?

Some good choices some bad. Yet to hear a coherent argument against a brown kit other than "its brown".

All Pony kits were awful, adidas 01/02 was worse than the one suggested here. Hated the Puma 09/10 with yellow trim. As for the away kits, Kappa 05/06 royal blue was a shocker. The 12/13 Under Armour grey & black halved kit was awful, the sky blue Puma shirt from 08/09 looked cheap and nasty.
