What is fast track arbitration?

Section 29(b) of the amended Arbitration Act, 1996 in 2015. In Fast Track Arbitration, there are no oral hearings unless it requires. This is a fast track mode to resolve the dispute. The award will be passed within six months.

Important to note is that the parties need to have a written agreement to enter into a fast track arbitration method and this agreement needs to entered into before the constitution of the arbitral tribunal.
