When it's cold at night with the air conditioning on, the door shocks me (ouch ) my blanket gives off static, my metal bed shocks me 😅, it's electric sparks 😄 all over . I have to use a cloth to open my door or else it's pins and needles, that's what it feels like .

why is it that i only get static shocks after returning from a long stay in asia? can a charge build up in the body? i can go years wit no static shocks neither her or asia. but after i return from asia I get shocks everywhere for about one week.

I live in the Texas Northwest desert and it is winter time and we had rain which is very rare and my hair will not stop standing up straight. There is so much static electricity in the air.
