There are many obstacles designed to stop you from getting PR. 1st of all, Your Australian diploma or degree are not recognised by the Aus Immigration. Yes you heard it right. Not recognised. All your Australian degree must be assessed by the relevent Assessment Authority Eg Vetasses to ensure that your degree is within the Australian Qualifications Framework. Silly right? To make it Worst, you have to pay for this sillyness. 2nd your Australian work experience had to skill assessed too....against your chosen occupation. Also your so called valuable Onshore Aus education and work experience earns you only 5 points to the foreign degree and work expereince....It just means quantitively speaking and economically its a disadvantage to study and work in Austrralia to get a PR.
