After Billy Ray Cyrus’ inauguration performance at the Liberty Ball raised eyebrows, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer attributed the questionable performance to technical difficulties. Following the performance, he wrote in a Jan. 21 Instagram post, "I wouldn’t have missed the honor of playing this event whether my microphone, guitar and monitors worked or not.”

I can’t believe they’re citing Carrie Underwood’s tech difficulties in this same story. Carrie’s acapella was better than it would have been with music. But nothing could have helped Cyrus. He’s clearly strung out, washed up, and done. That was an embarrassment and just shameful that nobody called and just told the organizers he was sick or something.

I feel bad for him. I have never done any type of drug not even ever smoked pot. I don't drink. But I have faced pain and loss. If you don't have people who care for you and most of all if you don't know Jesus and trust Him it can be easy to be were Billy is. I pray He gets the help and love he needs. Wasted As Usual My handicapped nephew is his ultimate fan I contacted our casino near us where he was going to play. and the director set up a meeting for my nephew to meet him and enjoy the concert. (Our observation) Billy Ray was so wasted I was very sad for this meeting instead of excited like I was beforehand. My nephew is 45 but has a 12 yr old mentality so Thank God he didn't notice. Because of the lights we had to leave before he played my nephews favorite song due to seizures.

I think Carries a capella performance was a wonderful accident. Her voice is so crisp and powerful she absolutely killed that performance and I think people will talk about that performance many years from now.
