Sometimes when I hang out with my old friends from high school, it feels like we just graduated. Even though its been 6 years. We all moved on and have our own houses and lives now, but when we are together it feels like we are still 18.

I graduated two weeks ago from high school too but it doesn’t even feel like I did.
Because of corona our school couldn’t celebrate anything so it really does feel like I didn’t graduate properly.
We didn’t even get a certificate. Nothing… which sucks…
Here in Portugal we have something called “Benção das Capas” which is a ceremony for the people that will graduate from high school and then we go to a club or whatever and party but this year there was nothing at all (which is understandable because of COVID-19) but I think they could’ve at least given a certificate or something like that 🥺

its 2:37 am and i was literally about to go to bed until i heard this audio. now im balling my eyes out covering my mouth trying to keep myself from crying too loudly. idk what exactly it is about this audio but it makes me think of growing up which i get extremely emotional about bc even though i haven’t even started high school yet it feels like im going to blink and suddenly i will be graduating. this audio also reminds of my life in a way. rainy, sad, underwhelming, disappointing, ugly etc. this audio makes me think of never making friends. it somehow brings back memories of me in school sitting alone while being bullied idk. point is i heard this and now tears are streaming down my face 🙁
