In this video, I check the setup and accuracy of my mill to see if I can get true, square timbers. Over the years some things get out of sorts and I need to be able to mill the most accurate timbers for the upcoming timber frame project.

I enjoy watching you build things from the tree up. You are one of my favorite creators. Of course, I have a half dozen or more favorites. Don't want you to get a big head 😊😅.

De-winterizing and tuning my sawmill today. Let the sawmilling begin! Looking forward to watching your timber frame build. All the best and God Bless.

Nice show Troy, I would of bet after you dropped a few logs and moved the mill to your pad that something would out of wack.

personally i would just peel bark and use as is for post .
after all going to be set on concrete pier footing just need to eliminate direct contract with concrete for moisture control
saw shelter be basically log structure for roof would just saw 2 side to control thickness and allows for roof with out waves
rustic but functional

You could just use a 24 inch level to verify each bed cross member and the log cuts.

Uh seriously Troy, a four minute commercial in the middle of your video?? That's a good way to lose viewers.
