Yes, RIP AnandTech. That said, it hasn't really been AnandTech since Anand sold it. The new corporate owners commenced dumbing it down the day they moved in.

RIP Anandtech. For many years you were my go to site for tech news. As a 60 year old IT pro you were there for me. Thank you!

RIP Anandtech, no one does an architecture write-up as well as them. Steve should hire Ryan Smith.

I was fortunate enough to meet Anand ( and Thomas Pabst of Tom's Hardware) way back when I was writing for Bxboards (another long gone tech website). Back then most of the tech websites were run by enthusiasts and things have gone way downhill since corporate got involved

I don't know what annoys me more: The fact that September mostly isn't fall, or that December mostly isn't winter.

"Says it will ship several billion dollars in Blackwell revenue in Q4".

$2, 500 5090 confirmed.

I learned so much from Anandtech. All the basics, typing it in was muscle memory for so long.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of that CM art is that they managed to complete it before the thermal paste dried out.

I think the reason we're used to think that September isn't Summer is School.
At least here in Italy, the new school year starts in September,
so we're "trained" since childhood to feel like the whole month is completely not-Summer.

Thanks for your videos!

Just so everyone knows, when you turn on close captions on Paul's video and the opening sequence is playing, the caption reads "Dope Fanfare"

I met Joe at a gaming festival the other year as he approached me to use my PC to film for marketing purposes in a LAN hall, and he was such a nice and down to earth guy you wouldn't have thought he was as high up as he was. It was only when he said "I designed and did the CAD work for that waterblock" I was like oh shit, it's watercooling Jesus beside me!

Perfect timing. 5pm Sunday in a Stormy SE Australia and just opened the first Coopers Stout to keep out the weather.

AnandTech is one of the very few tech outlets I was ever comfortable recommending to others who were looking for in-depth information. Sad to see it go.

The stupid ass 7600x3d raised the price of the 7800x3d combo. A combo that used to cost 450-500 went up to 550.

Sad news. I started using AnandTech (and Tom's hardware) in 2000 to help with hardware decisions for the lab I was getting my PhD in, and I kept using it for decades.

Anandtech was such a a titan. I'm glad the forums are preserved, what a wealth of knowledge both in articles and the many threads of sage posters.
