I loved the video bc I’m looking forward to enroll after I get my certificate for Paralegal and she mentioned to be a paralegal, perfect answer I was looking for.

In some ways deploying a good experience and a change of scenery. In the late 70's through 80's, there were no deployments. The word didn't even exist. If you were at a base you hated, you were stuck there for your entire enlistment. Some did get to leave, but that meant PSC's over seas for usually 2 to 3 years. Your best friend in deployments are direct deposit pay. Before that, if you went TDY some where, your paper paycheck was sent to your mailbox at your home based 1000's of miles away. You could get advanced pay at times, but often getting it all straitened out after you returned were not worth the hassle. You had to car large amounts of cash with you to budget while you were gone. Not many credit cards around then either and much harder to get one. Today's world for tech is soooo much better.

The Air Force never deployed for nearly 40 years until the Iraq War of 2003. Then it became very popular and I'm guessing a money make for some politicians and CEO's.

When you say deploy is that deploying to another base or to war?
