Airborne search and rescue is not only expensive it a very demanding task. What if there were a different way?

AI-Search is a low cost alternative being developed by Plan Jericho in collaboration with No. 35 Squadron and The Royal Australian Navy's Warfare Innovation Branch. Combining a sensor and processor the system is highly portable allowing any aircraft, including UAS, to turn into an improvised search and rescue platform.

A recent C-27J Spartan sortie helped train the processors learning algorithm and AI sensors to recognise a range of life rafts, life boats and safety equipment. This was the second of several flights planned to develop and evaluate this proof of concept.

Now use that AI to locate all the foreign hostile penetration of our IT systems.
